VISION

British artist Jamie Reid is an iconoclast, anarchist, punk, hippie, rebel and romantic. After decades collaborating alongside the likes of Westwood/McLaren, Comme des Garçons and Valentino, Ragged Kingdom is Reid and curator/gallerist John Marchant’s exclusive clothing line. Infamously and forever tied to the Sex Pistols and spirit of punk, Reid’s Label provocatively treads those lines whilst hitting on a very modern message. 

Punk has always been about explosive energy and shifting the power, and Jamie Reid has always been about finding ways to inspire change for the good. His great uncle George Watson MacGregor Reid was also a campaigner for social justice and was the Chosen Chief of the Druid Order whose timeless prayer for Universal Majesty, Verity and Love Infinite is our inspiration and mission today.

パンクは常に、爆発的なエナジーと権力の推移を目的としてきました。Jamie Reidも、その動力を見つけ出し、常に改善へとの刺激を与える事に専念してきました。彼の大叔父に当たるGeorge Watson MacGregor Reidもまた 社会的正義を求めた活動家であり、the Druid Orderの設立者であり、時代を超越した祈祷“Universal Majesty, Verity and Love Infinite ”は、ブランドのインスピレーションの原動であり、使命であると感じています。
